Zombie Apocalypse
I sat on the roof of my house, dressed in capris and a t-shirt, a black hat shielding my eyes from the sun. My black bag leaned against me, filled with the weapons from my dad's closet. I held a rifle, aiming it at the beginning of my street. It was the zombie apocalypse, and my family was long gone. To where, I didn't know, but it was safer to assume they were dead.
My phone next to me lit up with a text message, which surprised me. I didn't think that phones would work in the apocalypse. I picked it up and slid it open, finding a message from my friend, Thomas.
